My name is Robert Raglievich. I’m a computer guy who lives in Bergen County, New Jersey. I have a degree in Computer Science from St.Peter’s College.
I’ve been in computers for a long time now from the large mainframes to the personal computer. I’ve set-up, fixed and maintained computers for friends and family. I’ve been a programmer, I’ve done websites (and still do) and since late January 2008 I blog on the side. I’ve started to dedicate more time to blogging while at the same time juggling my web design and development duties.
My design skills and knowledge are self taught. I spend a lot of time reading, researching, and practicing web technologies, guidelines, and trends. I’m in tuned and self-educating with the ever-changing Internet industry.
I believe in not only doing the job which I was hired to do but augmenting it with additional duties whenever possible. This includes for an employer as well as for my freelancing. It may require more hours, including non-work hours, but the benefits are worth it.
Depending on the assignment I like to ask “How can I/we do this better?” I strive to keep the necessary individuals informed of what has been done, what will be done, and how can it be done (differently).
